ContainerShip was founded in 2015 by Phil Dougherty and Norman Joyner to make life easier for developers and operations engineers tasked with keeping the lights on and deployments rolling in a world of increasingly complex technology. Social, Mobile, and now IoT are changing the landscape of data center operations, and new solutions are required to be able to respond quickly to changes in the market, surges in traffic, and dev teams that are moving faster than ever before. With over 20 years of combined experience developing hosting infrastructure powering top 50 internet sites, and leading mobile commerce platforms, They have deep insight into internet infrastructure and what it takes for DevOps teams both large and small to be successful.

Prior to founding ContainerShip Phil and Norm were involved in building massive, highly available, multi-provider infrastructure before public IaaS or PaaS existed, we know what works and what doesn’t.
