OnShift’s Peter Corless Elected Associate Business Member President for the American Health Care Association

Corless to Serve as an Ex-Officio on the AHCA Board of Governors

OnShift, a leader in human capital management software for post-acute care and senior living, today announced that Peter Corless, Executive Vice President of Enterprise Development at OnShift, has been elected the Associate Business Member (ABM) President for the American Health Care Association (AHCA). Corless will represent the AHCA vendor partner community for a two-year term as an ex-officio on the AHCA Board of Governors.

“Peter’s breadth of experience and depth of expertise in the long term and post-acute care continuum will be invaluable in helping AHCA fulfill its mission of improving lives by delivering solutions for quality care,” stated Mark Parkinson, AHCA/NCAL President and CEO. “I am honored to work with Peter and know that he will do a tremendous job representing the interests of the vendor partner community.”

With over 21 years’ experience in post-acute care, Corless has addressed critical healthcare provider issues from policy and payment to quality and workforce. He has driven post-acute care business strategies as a member of the senior leadership teams at Kindred Healthcare and Genesis HealthCare. In addition, Corless has worked directly with AHCA/NCAL, having spent two years as the liaison between the association and CEOs of the Regional Multifacility Council and the Council on Post-Acute Care (CPAC). In his current role with OnShift, Corless leverages his extensive background in post-acute care to drive strategies for market expansion, product development, and thought leadership.

“Providing access to appropriate, affordable, quality care is one of the most significant issues facing our nation’s seniors,” stated Peter Corless, Executive Vice President, OnShift. “As ABM President, I am looking forward to collaborating with AHCA, state affiliates, the vendor partner community and others to influence policy agendas to ensure we are collectively working toward this common outcome.”

Corless’ term begins October 7, 2015, kicking off at the AHCA/NCAL Annual Convention in San Antonio. ABM members are invited to a Town Hall with Peter on Tuesday, October 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the Convention.
